HIPAA compliance

YOOBIC, the all-in-one digital workplace for frontline teams, has obtained its HIPAA/HITECH Type 1 attestation, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Security Rule of 2003 (“HIPAA”) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (“HITECH”), enacted as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

For organizations in healthcare and related fields subject to the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, YOOBIC enables covered entities and their business associates to use a secure cloud database environment to process, maintain, and store protected health information (PHI).

Achieving HIPAA/HITECH Type 1 attestation demonstrates YOOBIC’s commitment to ensuring institutional-grade data security and safeguarding customer data. The in-depth audit was conducted by the independent CPA firm, Hancock Askew & Co LLP.
